2008 Winter Guard Program

Metamorphosis, change, evolution, and variation through time will provide the foundation for the Phantom Regiment's 2008 program. The butterfly becomes the metaphor and connection for their production entitled "It Takes Time." The twenty-eight men and women of the color guard will depict the beauty, energy, and drive of Michael Torke's Saxophone Concerto, movement #3. The staff is excited to create and explore the endless possibilities within the concept as it relates to "change" within staging, equipment, and movement options. Color, shape, and line will help to define the metamorphosis that will take place within the program. The performers will evolve through costuming, staging, and choreography to bring the show alive. Change does take time and within that time, beautiful things emerge!

The Phantom Regiment Winter Guard is pleased to perform their program at the Nashville Regional, Atlanta Regional, and South Power Regional in Tampa, Florida on their way to Dayton, Ohio for the WGI World Championships.

Phantom Regiment to host second annual hands on clinic in conjunction with the Southern Association for the Performance Arts
On December 1st, the Phantom Regiment Winter Guard will present their second annual clinic for area high school students.

Winter Guard Needs Your Support - join the winter guard Phan Club!
In 1978, Phantom Regiment traveled down Interstate 90 to compete in the very first Winter Guard International World Championship at Conant High School in suburban Chicago. It finished runner-up to the Holley Hawks of New York. In order for them to compete again, we need your help.
