Phantom Regiment’s annual Show of Shows and the Rockford Register Star are proud to present the Tour of Champions. After the sellout last year, we have made some important improvements that will make the event more enjoyable for you. We have increased the seat size for the entire stadium (except the already larger VIP seats). Since each seat is wider, we therefore have lost a large number of seats making the capacity of the stadium smaller. We will also have more ticket entrances and ticket takers to get you in to the stadium faster. Plus, we will have a new spacious marketplace where you'll be able to roam much easier visiting with old friends as well as buying your favorite corps' t-shirt! All of these improvements aimed at making your experience more enjoyable from beginning to end.

The Tour of Champions event series is an exciting live entertainment format featuring the top eight corps from last summer, giving fans the opportunity to immerse themselves in the drum corps experience with exclusive fan-member interaction, pre-show and intermission entertainment, and an en-masse finale on top of the corps’ traditional competitive productions.

Featuring the eight top corps from the 2011 DCI World Championships, additional Tour of Champions features include:

Champions Up Close
Small ensembles of corps members will be spread throughout to entertain fans as they enter the stadium, as well as during intermission. This exciting entertainment will showcase the outstanding performers from participating corps. Plus, you'll have the chance to “meet & greet” with members from your favorite corps before and after the show!

Opening Ceremony
A unique display of tradition, respect and innovation will be utilized to present the American Flag and our National Anthem.

En Masse Finale
A spectacular post-show finale to delight fans old and new, as all eight corps’ brass along with a few percussion and color guard will perform together in this specially created finale for these events.

The event series will combine drum corps competition at the highest level, with up-close interactive action. The top eight groups are not only vying for the championship, but also banding together for exciting events before, during, and after the contest itself.

This series kicks off on July 15 in Rockford, Ill., continuing on to Houston, Texas, July 20; Murfreesboro, Tenn., July 27; Charlotte, N.C., July 29, and culminating in East Rutherford, N.J. on August 5.

Last year's show sold out early, so get your tickets in advance. By purchasing in advance, you're able to choose your seat and save $2 per ticket! VIP Ticket includes: Superior Seating - best seats in venue with an extra-wide seat; a seat cushion; preferred parking; program book; lanyard with a VIP badge; and a fabulous pig roast BBQ dinner with beverages before the show! Dinner is from 5 pm to 6:30 pm. VIP passes only get you into the VIP tent; you need your ticket to get into the stadium. VIP passes will be sent to you separately.
