Educational Camps

The Phantom Regiment has been producing successful fun & educational camps since 2003. The Regiment’s strive for excellence in the competitive arena is just as strong in the educational arena. We offer: Color Guard Camp; Drum Camp; and Drum Major Camp.

Not only do we provide some of the best educators in the country, we also provide a very memorable and fun experience for each student in one of our overnight camps. Our overnight camps take place on universities across the country, where you will stay in a campus dorm room and eat from the college cafeteria. The overnight camps are ALL INCLUSIVE - housing & meals. No need to travel to a hotel each night, as you'll be staying on campus. This is the best & easiest way to experience an overnight camp.

The Phantom Regiment Educational Camps not only include everything above, but each camp have interactive sessions with the world renowned Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps. At our educational camps, you'll learn along side the best performers in the world!

Brass Camp

The Phantom Regiment horn line is famous for it's deep majestic sound. Here's your chance to learn the same brass fundamentals taught to the Phantom Regiment horn line. This brass camp is only for brass players. (Woodwind players - we'll be adding wind camps in the future). Learn from our staff including brass caption head Christian Carichner. As with all of our educational camps, you will have interactive sessions with the Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps.

Color Guard Camp

The Phantom Regiment color guard always brings passion, beauty and phenomenal technical skills to life on the field. Now you can learn the same techniques used by the Regiment color guard to improve your skills. Learn from our staff including color guard caption heads KC Perkins and Tricia Gooley-Rarick. As with all of our educational camps. you will have interactive sessions with the Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps.

Drum Camp - Snare & Quads

There’s no better place to learn how to drum than with the 3-time Drum Corps International Fred Sanford High Percussion winners Phantom Regiment. Learn from from our staff including percussion caption head Shane Gwaltney. This drum camp tends to reach capacity every year for a reason. You will spend hours drumming during this camp. Not only will you play in small and large sections, but you will also get a private lesson as well. As with all of our educational camps, you will have interactive sessions with the Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps.

Drum Major Camp

Where else can you learn from some of the best conductors than at the Phantom Regiment? We are known for producing some of the best conductors on the field. We consistently place first in the conducting portion of the Drum Corps International’s High Drum Major award. We also provide outstanding leadership training whether you are a first year or four year drum major. Not only do you learn from some of the best educators in the country, but as with all of our educational camps, you will have interactive sessions with the Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps. You may even be lucky enough to be chosen to conduct the world famous horn line through a musical piece you learn during the camp.
